7-Year-Old Child Dubbed as Cobra Prince Bitten by Snake He Captured
A 7-year-old child in Tampakan, South Cotabato, was bitten by a snake he had captured, he was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention.
A snakebite occurs when a snake sinks its fangs into the skin of a person or an animal, injecting venom or poison into the body. Snakebites can be dangerous and even life-threatening, depending on the type of snake and the amount of venom injected.
Symptoms of snakebite may include pain, swelling, redness, and bruising around the bite area. In severe cases, symptoms can progress to difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and even paralysis.

Recently, a young boy identified as Kevin Blanco a.k.a Cobra Prince catcher was bitten by a snake he had captured. The child was rushed to the hospital by barangay officials to receive anti-venom treatment, and his condition is now stable.
According to a neighbor who recorded a video, the child even brought the snake home and placed it in an aquarium.
The barangay has sought assistance from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to return the snake to its natural habitat in the forest. Currently, the parents of the child have not provided any statements regarding the incident.
