Holdup Suspect in Quezon City Arrested for Robbing Parking Attendant
A 33-year-old suspect was arrested after being accused of robbing a parking attendant in Barangay Talipapa, Quezon City.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Morgan Aguilar, Station Commander of QCPD Station 3, they received a report that the suspect pointed a gun at the parking lot where the attendant was on duty took the victim’s cell phone, and quickly fled.
The incident was immediately reported to the police station. The patrollers were deployed and caught the suspect on San Sabina Street here in Barangay Talipapa.

“Yung kaganapan na po na ‘yun ay naireport agad sa ating kapulisan kung saan dinispatch agad patrollers natin at naabutan nga itong suspek sa San Sabina Street dito rin po sa Brgy. Talipapa,” Aguilar said.
CCTV footage from Barangay Talipapa showed the suspect walking on Santa Sabina Street where he was cornered by barangay officials. One of the men grabbed him as he attempted to escape.
Other barangay watchmen responded, and eventually, the police arrived. The suspect was found with a gun and a stolen cellphone. He was positively identified by the victim when taken to the precinct.

“Yung baril isusubmit natin sa crime lab yon or sa forensic unit at magrerequest tayo ng ballistic baka nagamit ito previously sa mga krimen so magcross match tayo,” added Police Lieutenant Colonel Aguilar.
An investigation by QCPD Station 3 revealed that the suspect had been imprisoned three times before for theft and gambling. The culprit denied committing the robbery. The suspect wrestled with the guy because he was trying to take a look at the metal he was carrying

The latter also insisted that the confiscated gun wasn’t his. He claimed that his friend asked him to sell it. The suspect has been charged with robbery and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
