The TCL Tab 8 NXTpaper 5G was officially announced in the third quarter of 2025. The tablet is fueled with a non-removable Li-Ion 6000 mAh battery + 18W wired charging. It was launched in a single color, Paper Gray.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the tab is 211.88 x 125.58 x 8.35 mm and weighs 365 grams. It comes with a screen size of 8.7 inches IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels.
Platform:
The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 MT6835T Octa-core processor coupled with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 15 operating system. It is packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Main Camera:
The rear side of the TCL Tab 8 NXTpaper 5G sports an 8-megapixel camera.
Selfie Camera:
For selfies, the tab comes with a 5-megapixel front camera.
Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Bluetooth 5.3, A2DP, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, USB Type-C 2.0, and OTG. Its sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, light, and gravity.
