All for money? The video of Miss Universe owner with a co-owner leaked online.
In the leaked video, Miss Universe owner Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip allegedly made claims about the pageant all centered to money.
Last 2022, Thai celebrity media tycoon Anne Jakrajutatip bought the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) for $20 million or roughly ₱1.17 billion. Apart from the being MUO owner, she is also the CEO and the biggest shareholder of JKN Global Group Pcl (JKN).
The acquisition is accordingly “a strong, strategic addition to our portfolio”.
A year after the purchase, Jakrajutatip filed for bankruptcy. This move will accordingly “solve the Company’s liquidity problem under the legal mechanism and provide fair protection to all stakeholders” but the organization remains “completely clean and will continue to operate as planned”.
Recently, an alleged leaked video has put the credibility of the MUO owner in doubt because of the alleged video that leaked online. The conversation, in general, centered in one goal: to earn money.
Anne JKN was with co-owner Mexican businessman Raul Rocha Cantu.
One of the things they talked about was their “communication strategy”. A part of this strategy was to remove the age limit in the pageant. This also shows social inclusion and female empowerment that aims to attract more people who can relate to this which is good for their business.
“They can compete but they cannot win,” says Anne in the alleged leaked video.
Another person expressed, “We also want to have girls that like fashion, even though we know they can compete but they cannot win.”
They also want to commercialize women of all “color, sizes, whatever” as this, as well, is good for the business. She is also planning to create a reality show for women measuring 32-33 – the “real size beauty” and “very big size”.
But as mentioned above, despite the numerous who will join, the winner is already declared which will make the whole competition far from being a reality one. She has other big plans and most of it will seemingly be done whatever it takes just to earn money.
