Anne Curtis Message For OFWs After Birthday Performance

Here’s the message of Anne Curtis for the OFWs who celebrated with her on It’s Showtime.

Kapamilya superstar Anne Curtis thanked the OFWs who celebrated her birthday with her on noontime show It’s Showtime.

Marking her 39th year in It’s Showtime with a Taylor Swift-themed prod is Kapamilya star Anne Curtis. She is a big fan of the international singer and songwriter and this time is perfect as she seemingly still got the high of “The Eras Tour” concert that she attended in Australia.

To recall, Anne was “bejeweled” when she attended Swift’s “The Eras Tour”. She wore a creation of Michael Leyva and was sparkling in her little dress inspired by the song “Bejeweled”.

Still on the high of “The Eras Tour” concert, her birthday production in It’s Showtime was inspired by Swift. She performed “Ready for it,” “Cruel Summer,” “Bejeweled,” “Shake it Off,” and “Enchanted.” in her birthday performance and celebrating with her in the show are several OFWs in audience.

Her 15-minute birthday production number was inspired by Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert.

To the avid fans, this joke originated from the banter exchange with Vice Ganda years ago. Out of nowhere, many OFWs unraveled it and it became a trending topic online. This became their playtime and Curtis doesn’t mind at all.

After her performance, she acknowledge the presence of the OFWs in the audience and greeted those who are watching her online.

“Napakarami nila na talagang nagbigay ng time to celebrate with me, sa birthday ko dito sa Showtime,” she expressed.

She never expected for that joke from many years ago be brought back and become a trend.

“I hope during those times na parang you missed your family e’ I’m able to bring you happiness dahil sa joke na ‘yun ‘pag birthday ko. I just hope na parang kahit kauntii, mapatawa ko kayo. Maraming, maraming salamat you guys made it to my birthday,” she added.

In a new Instagram post, she expressed how “enchanted” she was to meet them and gave her virtual hugs to those who did not make it. Although this trend all started off as a playtime, she hopes that she could still make them happy during the low time of missing their family.
