Gillian Vicencio admits that after Kathryn Bernardo unfollowed her, she tried to contact her.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s split rocked the industry and Gillian Vicencio was “traumatized” when she was dragged into it.
Last January, many were surprised and confused as to why Kapamilya superstar Kathryn Bernardo unfollowed ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla and other female personalities. This happened over a month after their split in reel and real life has been confirmed.
Kathryn unfollowed Padilla and three actresses such as Liza Soberano, Julia Barretto, and Gillian Vicencio.
Vicencio got mired into the controversial split after many people accused her having an affair with Padilla in September 2023. She denied the allegations back then immediately, however, photos of Vicencio and Padilla emerged online and caused a stir.
In a recent interview, Vicencio admitted that she got affected with this. She was confused as to why she was dragged into the issue when none of the claims and accusations about her and the actor were true.
Before these, she shared that she was on good terms with Bernardo and Padilla as they have worked together in “2 Good 2 Be True”. She was also part of Kathryn’s dark comedy film “A Very Good Girl” with Dolly De Leon.
In the same interview, she was asked if she’s on good terms with Bernardo and she admitted this, “Nag-message po ako sa kanya at hindi pa po kasi kami nagkikita ulit nang personal.”
She added speaking about the unfollow issue, “Nagulat po ako. Kasi hindi po kami nakapag-usap e, pero yun nga po, nag-message naman po ako sa kanya. Siguro hindi po siya nag-reply dahil may pinagdaraanan siya. Okay lang naman po yon.”
Asked when she is ready to work with them again, she expressed that she is pointing out that she needs money. Apart from the money matters, she confidently said that she is ready for she is not guilty.
