Ricci Rivero is just laughing at the past controversies
Basketball player Ricci Rivero gamely answered the question if he is doing his laundry now which came from the past statement of his ex-girlfriend actress Andrea Brillantes.
This issue came from the move-on advice that Andrea had after her breakup with Ricci. The Kapamilya star said how she can dwell on her past with an ex who did not even do his laundry for a year.
Ricci was silent about this statement from Andrea which was apparently directed to him. However, before the holiday season, Ricci’s current girlfriend Los Banos Councilor Leren Mae Bautista shared a photo of a Christmas tree made from unwashed clothes.
In a statement about this, Leren Mae said that they were just trying to make the “hindi naglalaba” issue lighter. She said that since people had their own perception of Ricci Rivero, they just drew out laughter from it.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Ricci was jokingly asked if he is doing his laundry now.
“Hindi ko talaga getz kung saan nanggaling actually iyon. Pero since naman na-brand na rin naman ako, wala na akong magagawa. Sila naman yung maniniwala, yun at yun pa rin naman di ba?” he lightly said.
When asked if there are brands who already contacted him as an endorser, he quipped, “Wala pa naman, inaantay ko nga yung mga Tide, di ba? Kung anuman, washing machine.”
Meanwhile, Ricci Rivero is thankful that he was able to surpass the controversies. He said that this is because of the support he got from his family and Leren Mae Bautista. The basketball player stressed that his family is his core.
They have grown closer while making each other stronger to face the controversy. He also shared that his parents had instilled in them even before that family is important despite the differences that might happen between the members.
