Valentine’s Day Plans & Motherhood Insights Shared by Marian Rivera
MARIAN RIVERA – Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera shared her Valentine’s Day plans and motherhood tips.
People prepare for Valentine’s Day for various reasons, and it often depends on their personal preferences, beliefs, and relationships. Valentine’s Day is widely recognized as a commemoration of love and affection between romantic partners, it offers a unique opportunity for expressing feelings, gratitude, and commitment.
Across various cultures, Valentine’s Day has evolved into a tradition emphasizing love and companionship, fostering a sense of societal or cultural expectation to partake in the festivities. The day serves as a special occasion for openly expressing affection and appreciation, manifesting through the exchange of gifts, heartfelt messages, or romantic gestures.
Marian Rivera shared that, despite her busy schedule, she always finds time to be with her family, especially on occasions like Valentine’s Day. During a brand event on Friday, Feb. 9, Marian stressed that she and her husband, Dingdong Dantes, always have Valentine’s Day plans; however, this year will be different with the presence of their kids.
“Meron kami, pero sabi ko kay Dong, this time gusto ko maiba. Gusto ko kasama ‘yung dalawang bata kasi naging busy kami last year. Parang itong ‘yung time to spend with them. So sabi ko gusto ko kaming apat,” she said.
Despite the demands of her busy work schedule, Marian Rivera has consistently been a hands-on mother, openly discussing her enjoyment of preparing meals for her family. She stressed that if she were to offer advice to mothers or young women, it would be to acquire cooking skills.
“Ine-encourage ko nga ang lahat na sana matuto sila magluto kasi kapag pinasok nila ‘yung pagluluto hindi na sila titigil kaluluto, especially kapag mga meron silang appliances na madali sa pagluluto,” said Marian.
Marian said that her commitment to her family, despite the exhaustion and busyness of balancing motherhood with her career, makes her a resilient mother who is willing to go to great lengths for her loved ones.
“Lahat talaga gagawin ko para sa pamilya ko. Hindi ako mag-eexcuse na busy ako, pagod ako, wala ‘yon sa’kin. Basta mabigay ko ‘yung dapat para sa family ko gagawin ko ‘yon. Kahit walang tulog from work okay ako,” the actress declared.
