Recently, Dimple Orlanda, a Facebook user, shared her distressing experience at a salon, where she underwent a hair treatment that left her hair damaged. Her story quickly gained attention online, earning reactions from the online community.
Orlanda revealed that she had paid P4500 for the treatment, which she underwent on December 31, 2023. The salon had claimed to offer a hair restoration service that was entirely natural and free from chemicals, insisting that they were the only providers of such treatment in the Philippines.
The customer decided to invest in the treatment despite its expensive price, especially since she was avoiding chemical treatments at the time. She even opted to cut her hair short before undergoing the treatment to fix dry ends caused by her previous hair color.
However, her hopes for healthier hair were ruined when, after a month, she noticed alarming changes. Her hair began falling out within the first few weeks, and she observed its deterioration, from dryness to excessive oiliness even shortly after showering.
The lady netizen attempted to reach out to them for a resolution. However, she has yet to receive a response, adding to her stress and uncertainty about how to repair the damage done to her hair.
The woman expressed her disappointment, especially considering her reputation for never compromising on quality when it comes to her hair, always choosing the most premium packages available.
