A lady netizen elicits comments online after sharing photos of a cat’s pawprint on the toasted bread she bought.
Toasted bread holds a special place among the baked goods on display. Its aroma that fills the air or the satisfying crunch with every bite has become a popular breakfast in various countries all around the world including the Philippines.
Recently, Mhabelle Rubia Tioco, a Facebook user, shared photos of the toasted bread she bought. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
Mhabelle went to the nearby store to buy bread for a pair with coffee. When suddenly she felt like there was something different from what she was holding. She was about to open the bread, she was surprised because there was a cat’s footprint.
Tioco and her cousin suddenly burst into laughter. She thinks that a cat may have wandered into the bakery. However, she still ate it despite the cat’s footprint.
“Nung akmang bubuksan ko na po yong tinapay, nagulat ako kasi bakit may footprint ng pusa! Like huh? Bakit may ganito?! Nagulat kami ng pinsan ko then biglang nagtawanan nalang kami bigla ng malakas,” Tioco said.

Noong ako’y nagawi sa katabi naming tindahan,
Dala ko’y limang piso, pambili ng tinapay na pares sa kape sa agahan,
