Here’s what Claudine Barretto said to Angelu De Leon.
Previously, Claudine Barretto reveals beef with Angelu De Leon which stirred issue online and just recently, she furthered on what caused it.
Pasig City councilor Angelu de Leon and actress Claudine Barretto have a tiff and this was publicized at Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas’ recent 20th wedding anniversary celebration. Both of them were present and at the stage, the actress clearly expressed that she does not want to work with the actress turned politician.
The issue between Claudine and Angelu stirred controversy online.
In a previous article, Claudine revealed the real reason behind and according to her, it is because of the comments she made on her past issues. This happened not just once but twice. One was when she and another actress had an issue and the second time was when she had an issue with her family.
“Kung wala kang magawa, tumahimik ka na lang, di ba? Ang career mo ang pag-usapan mo, huwag yung career ko. Yun lang ang ano ako. Kaya ayaw ko siyang makatrabaho,” Barretto said.
Recently, she furthered what really happened and even sent the articles of the issues where Angelu made comments about her issues. Barretto specifically pointed out the statement she made when she and Jolina Magdangal had an issue.
In 2015, Magdangal expressed hesitation in working again with Barretto because they had a disagreement and Claudine apparently got mad. Angelu commented on this and expressed that the Optimum Star should find the statement offensive because Magdangal was accordingly just stating a fact.
In a statement to Jun Lalin she sent just recently, Claudine said, “At my lowest, bigay siya nang bigay ng opinion. Meron pa siyang, ‘I DON’T FIND IT OFFENSIVE. NAKADAPA NA KO, SISIPAIN MO PA? At isa pa DI KAMI CLOSE. Noon pa lang ganyan na sya samin ni Juday.”
In the same statement, Claudine also stressed that in her issues with her sisters, Angelu also doesn’t have to make comments about it but she did in the past. The comments were unnecessary for her, and she doesn’t have the right to do so as it is within their family.
