Actress Cristine Reyes was married to Ali Khatibi and in her recent interview, she admitted what happened to this.
Last 2016, Cristine got married to Ali Khatibi, a mixed martial arts fighter. They dated for three years before they tied the knot in the beautiful island of Balesin, in Quezon Province.
They have a daughter named Amarah but two years after they tied the knot, rumors about their separation surfaced.
They were silent about their marriage but in 2019, the actress shared that they were civil towards each other. In a previous article, the alleged cause of Cristine and Ali’s separation was because of the cold nights he was giving her and he was asking her something after they do the deed.
âWeâre civil,â she said back then and added, âWeâre in good terms, especially with things we have to do when it comes to Amara.â
What happened to their marriage?
In an interview with Boy Abunda, the actress finally gave a straightforward answer. The King of Talk asked the actress about her separation from Ali and she quipped that they have been separated a long time already. She even added that their marriage has been annulled for more than a year already.
She then continued, “Kasi Tito Boy, hindi ko naman siya in-announce eh. It’s not something I should celebrate.”
Meanwhile, she is currently in a relationship with Marco Gumabao. In the same interview, the couple admitted that they were already talking about marriage. Their future together has space on their conversations now. They are already discussing about taking their relationship to the next level.
This upcoming February 5, the actress will be celebrating her birthday and according to the actor, they are celebrating this milestone in her life in Siargao.
