Based on the report, the tricycle driver had earlier confronted a motorcycle rider who was loading passengers at their terminal in Barangay Amsic. For many drivers, terminals are assigned areas, and they depend on passengers lining up there for their daily income. The driver simply reminded the rider about this rule.

After a few moments, the driver noticed that he was being followed. Sensing danger, he decided to stop near the barangay outpost in Hensonville, Malabanias, hoping it would be a safer place.

However, several men on motorcycles, said to be no less than 20 individuals, arrived. They were wearing bonnets and had their faces covered.

The group suddenly attacked the driver and beat him in front of the outpost. Members of the Barangay Force Action Team quickly stepped in to stop the assault. They were able to rescue the driver and prevent the situation from getting worse.

Despite efforts to settle the commotion, the suspects fled the scene after the attack. Fortunately, the driver survived the incident. The brave person who recorded the video also helped document what happened, which may assist authorities in identifying those involved.
