Barangay Official, Mistress Nabbed Inside Mandaue Motel
A barangay kagawad may face an adultery case after being caught in a motel with/ his mistress in Mandaue City, Cebu.

On Friday evening (January 26, 2024), a barangay kagawad, and his mistress were apprehended inside a motel on Friday evening, January 26, 2024. The two may face a potential case of adultery for their inappropriate act.
The barangay official was identified as Carl Nelson Arnoco, 41, residing in Tawason, Mandaue City. In contrast, his mistress was identified as Gilda Cadungog Labares, 60 years old, residing in Barangay Camputhaw, Cebu City.
According to the reports, Arnoco holds the position of barangay kagawad in Barangay Luz, Cebu City.

Mandaue City Police Station 4 released the initial result of the investigation stating that Arnoco’s wife personally sought assistance from the police after witnessing her husband entering a motel with another woman.
The police authorities discovered the suspects inside one of the motel rooms. Arnoco and Labares were arrested and informed of their constitutional rights. They were then detained for proper disposition.
Authorities explained that the two would face charges of adultery as per legal protocols governing such cases.
