John Lloyd Cruz shared a post about his former Star Magic family
A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz had this meaningful message for former Star Magic head Johnny Manahan, also known as Mr. M, and his friends in the entertainment industry.
For two decades or more, JLC’s career was handled by Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN. He was among the brightest stars mentored by the “Mr. M.”
However, in 2022, John Lloyd signed a management deal with Crown Artist Management (CAM), the company established by his friend Maja Salvador and her now-husband Rambo Nunez.
Early last year, John Lloyd Cruz had a reunion with his fellow Star Magic babies Bea Alonzo, Maja Salvador, Heart Evangelista, Diether Ocampo, Jericho Rosales, and Piolo Pascual.
That gathering was to celebrate the birthday of Mr. M who is now working in the Kapuso network. Their reunion became nostalgic to their fans and happiness as well because they remained friends over the years.
With that reunion, speculations surfaced that they might work together in future projects but nothing was confirmed yet. Piolo previously confirmed that he will do a project with JLC, Diether, and Jericho.
In a recent Instagram post on his other account, John Lloyd mentioned his friends in the entertainment industry, including Mr. M and his partner. The A-list actor featured a photo of a wall with words written on it.
In the caption of his post, he wrote, “Pardon me while I burst but thank you Mr. M and Tita Mariole for today. Thank you @piolo_pascual @jerichorosalesofficial @beaalonzo @maja @bernardokath Keren Pascual,Ate Grace and your son and everyone around you who make your star shine so bright they humble and make me kind of special.
John Lloyd Cruz also had a message for Heart Evangelista and Diether Ocampo who were apparently not with them at that time. “We missed you @iamhearte and @officialdietherocampo Til we meet again,” he wrote. Maja commented on this with a white heart emoji.
