Store Owner Posts Faces of Shoplifters Involved in Theft
A store owner has exposed the faces of individuals involved in shoplifting incidents inside his small supermarket.
In a small supermarket in Birmingham, England, the owner, Danny Khan, couldn’t handle the continuous attacks on his business by shoplifters he caught in the act. The continuous attacks on his business by shoplifters prompted him to take matters into his own hands.
In the video, it can be seen that a woman casually strolls through the aisles, browsing the shelves. However, grabbed two bags of snacks and, in a matter of seconds, secretly placed them into her plastic bag.

No item was safe from the shoplifters’ grasp, as even bunches of bananas fell victim to their cunning tactics. One shoplifter meticulously filled her bag with stolen bananas, pretending to rearrange them when someone passed by.
Another woman also placed bananas in her plastic bag and quickly left without paying. Shockingly, one shoplifter even brought a baby in a stroller while engaging in theft.
Frustrated with the increasing incidents of shoplifting and the lack of action from the police, Danny Khan decided to take matters public. He posted more than 20 videos of shoplifting incidents on social media as a form of accountability for those who had stolen from his store.
“We just became so fed up with the amount of shoplifting going on and police failing to act that we thought we’d turn to social media. We thought enough’s enough,” Khan expressed his frustration.
Khan’s move proved effective, as some of the individuals caught on camera returned to the store to pay for and apologize for their stolen items after being publicly exposed.
He explained, “My deal is if you come back, pay us, and apologize, then I’ll take the video down, it’s simple. Once people get named and shamed, they don’t do it again.”
The store owner vowed to persist until the local police took decisive action to address the escalating thefts in their area.
