Missing Father Finally Found Inside Jail After Shoplifting Canned Goods

A missing father has been finally found inside a police station after shoplifting two cans of corned beef worth P104 inside of a grocery store.

Lino Gamboa, a 59-year-old man detained at the police station 4 in Bacolod City has been reported missing by his children after he was arrested by alleged cops on December 3, 2018 (Monday).

Gamboa, a resident of Purok Cordova, Brgy 18 in Bacolod City has been arrested after shoplifting canned goods inside a grocery store along Burgos Street.

The security guard of the grocery store reported that Tatay Lino stole two cans of corned beef worth P104 pesos.

The detainee admitted that he really took the canned goods and placed it inside his pocket but he forgot to pay the items before leaving the establishment.

The father explained that he would really pay the item but the management of the grocery store refused to accept it and file complaints against him.

Previously, Leilani Francisco, the 39-year-old daughter of Gamboa from Brgy. Granada reported on Police Station 2 that her father has been picked up by two unidentified men at Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Gamboa’s family has also reported the incident to the authorities thinking that something bad happened to Tatay Lino without knowing that he was arrested due to shoplifting.
