2023 was a year of breakdowns and breakthroughs but it all ended just well because we survived everything that came our way. It was hard but it showed us the strength we never knew we had and emotions we haven’t had before.
It was a pretty intense year for most of us and in the show business industry, it was a year of celebrity breakups.
Among those who went through the biggest heartbreak in her life is Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu. Her over a decade relationship with Xian Lim has ended in 2023.
In a statement of Kim, she confirmed the split and said, “We owe our supporters the truth, but we also respect each other’s time of healing. In a relationship, love is always a significant factor, but sometimes love is not enough.“
Such a heavy year and for the actress, the 2023 was “365 days of emotions, up, side, down” and a year of “intense personal growth”. That year tested her faith but, at the same time, brought her learnings, wins, and losses.
She is thankful for the people she worked with, new friends gained, for the trust, opportunities, and everything including the highs and the lows. She appreciates and deeply thankful to the people who supported her along the way.
“I am thankful that in 2023, I was a noona(DreamMaker) to my dream chaser babies, getting you into the colorful existence of Melanie Dela Cruz(FitCheck) and entering the dark world of Juliana Lualhati(Linlang) plus a glimpse of the charming life of Secretary KIM(What’s wrong with secretary Kim),” she added.
The actress is thankful for the amazing 2023 and she wished for a more amazing 2024.
