Is it true that the father of Sarah Lahbati had an affair with her cousin?
A source revealed that Abdel Lahbati, the father of actress Sarah Lahbati, had an affair with Esther Lahbati’s niece.
Esther and Abdel are entangled in the issue of their daughter’s supposed breakup with actor Richard Gutierrez. Both of them have been sharing posts that appeared to be an attack against their son-in-law. Esther has been answering the issues raised by the camp of Richard.
This included the supposed “seloso” attitude of the actor and the DNA testing for their second son that he allegedly wanted to happen.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Now Na, the showbiz talk show of veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin, she talked about the family of Sarah Lahbati.
Cristy said that there had been several Filipinos living in Geneva, Switzerland, who knew the Lahbatis and shared what was happening in their family. The writer’s source revealed that it was Sarah who provided the plane tickets for her family when they visited her in the Philippines, and they wanted business class.
Since Sarah had not been working for several years, it was said that it was Richard who would pay for the airfare. Cristy also mentioned that a source revealed that the pension that Esther received as a former OFW is not that huge to flaunt the luxury that she can have.
In that SNN episode, the veteran showbiz writer also shared that Abdel and Esther have long been having fights and they would not choose where to have their arguments, whether it is inside the grocery store.
One of the reasons for their conflict was the alleged relationship that Sarah’s dad had with her cousin. With this, Cristy said that Filipinos in Geneva remarked that Abdel and Esther have no right to get involved in Sarah’s breakup with Richard because their marriage also has a problem.
“Matagal na raw nag-aaway ‘to. Talagang naghiwalay pa nga eh. Iniwan daw ni Mang Abdel si Aling Esther, dahil nga daw doon sa pamangkin niya (Esther),” Cristy said.
