Authorities Arrest Suspect in Kidnapping of 6 Chinese, 3 Filipinos in Muntinlupa
The suspect in kidnapping six Chinese nationals and three Filipinos in Muntinlupa City have been arrested.
Kidnapping is a distressing and criminal act where someone is forcibly taken and held against their will. It occurs when a person is taken away against their wishes. It is a serious crime that violates a person’s freedom and safety.
Kidnappers may use force, threats, or deception to control their victims and prevent them from escaping. The victim is often taken to a hidden location, making it challenging for authorities to locate them.
Recently, the police authorities have successfully arrested an individual believed to be involved in the abduction of six Chinese nationals and three Filipinos in Muntinlupa City. The suspect was identified under the alias “Alfred”.
According to the Philippine National Police – Anti-Kidnapping Group, the suspect was arrested on December 28, 2023 (Thursday) in Barangay Putata.
Alfred was allegedly the one who drove the vehicle used in the abduction of the victims. Authorities had been monitoring the suspect for about a month before conducting the follow-up operation.
“The AKG able to collate all information and revelation made by one of the witnesses in the said case as well as the other evidence pointing out the identity and role of the suspect in the tragic crime,” the statement read.
The victims were taken from their house in Muntinlupa on October 30, 2023. Subsequently, three Filipinos were released, while the bodies of four Chinese nationals were discovered in various locations in Rizal and Quezon in November.

Two more Chinese individuals who were part of the abduction are still being sought by authorities. The suspect is now facing charges of murder and carnapping in connection with the case.
