The Facebook page “Islander Factory Outlet” announced that it will be having its final sale as it prepares to shut its doors on January 1, 2024. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

However, Islander Footwear Manufacturing Corporation (IFMC) clarified that only the Islander Factory Outlet Store is closing its doors, not the entire company. The closure announcement was specific to the outlet store, marking the end of an era for that particular branch.
“It’s the Outlet which is closing, the factory is still not operational until now but wala pa mag closed,” IFMC said.
