Is Alden Richards willing to do another movie with Kathryn Bernardo?
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards was asked if he is ready to do the sequel to the movie Hello, Love, Goodbye with Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo.
Alden and Kathryn’s tandem came as a surprise. Back in 2019, the Kapuso and Kapamilya stars were paired in a movie that became the top-grossing Filipino film and reached P881 million global earnings.
Because of Kathryn and Alden’s chemistry, fans tagged them KathDen and hoped that the movie’s part two would be made.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Alden Richards has this answer when asked if he is ready to do HLG part two. He said that he is definitely into this and that he is ready to cancel other schedules for next year to give way to this movie with Kathryn Bernardo.
“Ako po…of course ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ naman po made history and yun naman rin po ang gusto ng mga nakapanood, na magkaroon ng part 2,” the Pambansang Bae said.
The movie was shot in Hong Kong and the story revolved around two overseas Filipino workers who found love with each other but had to prioritize other things in life. This was directed by award-winning filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
“Ako po, ready naman ako anytime and yun din naman ang sinabi ko kay Direk Cathy. Sabi ko, ‘Direk kapag gumawa kayo ng part 2 ikaka-cancel ko muna lahat ng schedule ko,” Alden expressed.
On the other hand, he said that it will still depend on Star Cinema, the film company of ABS-CBN that produced the movie.
Previously, Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo’s tandem was recalled by netizens following the latter’s breakup with Daniel Padilla. Some fans were shipping Kathryn and Alden. However, veteran entertainment writer Cristy Fermin said that Kathryn and Alden did not reach the courting stage unlike what was rumored in the past.
