The PCSO Lotto announced a “Christmas gift” for loyal bettors.
PCSO LOTTO – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) increases the jackpot prizes of two major lotto games to a total of Php 1 billion.
On Friday, December 15, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced their Christmas gift for their loyal bettors. It is called “Paskong Handog Pakabog!”. In the announcement, the jackpot prizes of two of their major lotto games are increased.
The jackpot prizes for the Grand Lotto 6/55 and Ultra Lotto 6/58 will have a combined amount of Php 1 billion.
This means that the starting prize beginning December 16, Saturday, will be Php 500 million for each game. PCSO stated, “Sumatotal ng isang bilyong papremyo ang pwedeng mapanalunan pagsapit ng ika-16 ng Disyembre dahil itataas ang mininum jackpot prize ng Grand Lotto 6/55 at Ultra Lotto 6/58 sa ₱500 milyon.”
PCSO General Manager Mel Robles expressed that this is their way of showing their appreciation for their loyal patrons. The Grand Lotto 6/55 and Ultra Lotto 6/58 will each have a minimum guaranteed jackpot prize of ₱500 million.
6/55 is drawn every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY.
6/58 is drawn every TUESDAY, FRIDAY and SUNDAY.
These are just two of the five major games played and drawn every day. Aside from this, other games with multi-million starting jackpot prizes are:
- 6/42 starts at Php 5,940,000.00 drawn every TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY
- 6/49 starts at Php 15,840,000.00 drawn every TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SUNDAY
- 6/45 starts at Php 8,910,000.00 drawn every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY
GM Robles added, “Gusto talaga nating mabigyan ng maligaya at masaganang Pasko at Bagong Taon ang ating mga kababayan. Ang lahat po ng ating lotto games ay milyon-milyon ang ang ibinibigay na pa-premyo kaya mas malaki at mas marami ang tsansa ng ating mga tapat na mananaya na magwagi at sa ganoon ay makatulong tayo sa kanila.”
Despite the high stakes, the price of the tickets remains the same which is Php 20.00.
Meanwhile, if there are no winners, 22 percent of the sales will be contributed to the prize pool based on the post.

Today is Dec 18. There were no winners of the jackpot of 6/55 (Dec 16) and 6/58 (Dec 17). But on the PCSO website, the next draws of the said games remain to have the same winnable jackpot amount of exactly P500k each. No 22% increase. Why is this?
