Kelvin Miranda was accused of being the subject of this blind item by Darryl Yap
Kapuso actor Kelvin Miranda explained why he reacted to the blind item that controversial director Darryl Yap shared.
To recall, Direk Darryl shared a blind item about a male celebrity who was booked by an international singer to spend time with him for two nights.
Allegedly, that male celebrity received P1 million per night. Several netizens speculated that Direk Darryl was referring to Kelvin Miranda as the male celebrity who spent two nights with an international singer based on the director’s clues.
Kelvin answered the allegation through his Facebook Live. He stressed that it was the people who speculated that he was the subject of the blind item. The actor also said that he does not think that Direk Darryl was angry at him.
Direk Darryl also shared a screenshot of his conversation with Kelvin regarding the said blind item. The director said that people were crazy to accuse the Kapuso actor of being the male celebrity in his blind item.
In a recent interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Kelvin explained why he responded to the blind item.
“E, kasi, Tito Boy, ang dami na ring nagta-tag sa’kin even my friends, sinesend sa akin sa messenger, sa IG. Parang, kailangan ba lahat ito ang pag-usapan? So, parang gusto ko lang sabihin sa kanila na, ‘Hindi. Hindi totoo,’” the actor explained.
He added that he would not do such a thing because he has been working hard for the things he possesses. Kelvin also stressed that he is not judging anyone who does that kind of thing but he admitted that he is not comfortable with the accusation like that. “Mas gusto kong ginagastos ko ‘yung pera na kinikita ko,” he asserted.
