Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes Struggled To Do Affectionate Scenes

Here’s what Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes admitted in doing “Rewind”.

Kapuso stars and real-life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes struggled to do this in “Rewind”, their MMFF 2023 entry.

Married celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes have been in the industry for many years now. In terms of experience, they probably had their fair share already but in doing their reunion project “Rewind”, there was this one scene that they found hard to pull off.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, they opened up about this and admitted that as a married couple, the intimate scenes were hard to pull off.

The whole shooting experience was manageable but this kind of scene in particular was tough to do for them. The married couple revealed why it was hard doing it in the interview.

According to the Kapuso Primetime Queen, now that they are married, doing it for the camera seems like giving the viewers a glimpse of how they are doing it in real life.

She said, “Pero, ngayon na mag asawa na kami, parang na-o-off kaming gawin na, malalaman n’yo kasi kung paano kami as a mag-asawa.”

For this film, they even asked the director if they could dim the lighting for this scene. It was accordingly more comfortable to do it before when they were still single than now, being a married couple.

The film “Rewind” marks the comeback film of the Kapuso stars. It will hit the cinemas on Christmas Day. Apart from this film, Dingdong will also be starring in another MMFF entry called “Firefly”.
