Social Media Personality Rosmar Tan Reveals Herself as BIR Ambassadress
ROSMAR TAN – The popular internet personality revealed herself as BIR ambassadress and confirmed that she’s paying her taxes.
In the previous days, the business tycoon became one of the most controversial personalities after revealing her monthly income during an interview with Toni Gonzaga. From earning P40,000 a day, she claimed to have reached a point where her daily earnings soared to P10 – P13 million.
The social media influencer started her journey by selling Madre de Cacao extract and eventually shifted to the soap business.
Unfortunately, Tan’s recent statement prompted internet users to call out the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), urging them to investigate her tax liabilities. A netizen named Mikkhael claimed that Rosmar has an annual tax obligation of P540 million if she is earning P5 million a day.

Back in 2015, when Rosmar had a physical store business, she admitted feeling scared every time there was a tax mapping event at her stores. Even with proper documentation, the mention of BIR made her nervous.
However, her perspective changed when she became a BIR ambassadress last year. She emphasized that there’s no need to be afraid as long as you comply with the regulations.
