As Rosmar shared the story of her journey from selling Madre de Cacao extract to earning millions of pesos.
During the interview, Rosmar recounted her entrepreneurial journey, emphasizing the remarkable change in her income. From earning P40,000 a day, she claimed to have reached a point where her daily earnings soared to P10 – P13 million.
“Yun po yung medyo mahina na ako nun…nung time na sobrang sobra ang kasagsagan ko, pumapalo po ng P10 to P13 million,” Rosmar said.
However, her story has sparked a heated online debate regarding the tax implications of such huge earnings. Netizens quickly turned their attention to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), urging them to investigate Rosmar Tan’s tax liabilities.
A netizen named Mikkhael pointed out that if Rosmar was indeed earning P5 million a day, her annual tax obligation could amount to a staggering P540 million.
Mikkhael’s estimation drew attention to the need for Rosmar to address her tax responsibilities promptly. He suggested that with her reported income, hiring a competent accountant and lawyer should be a priority.
Additionally, Mikkhael emphasized the importance of proper documentation, advising Rosmar to ensure that she has kept all receipts and accurately declared her income to avoid potential penalties.
