Police Authorities Expose Suspect’s Possible Motive Regarding Victory Liner Incident
VICTORY LINER INCIDENT – The police authorities exposed the suspect’s possible motive behind the gruesome crime inside the bus.
In Barangay Minuli, Caranglan, Nueva Ecija, a heinous crime happened inside a Victory Liner bus on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. One passenger suddenly shot the person sleeping in the front seat and his partner but did not harm others.
The victims were identified as Gloria Mendoza Quillano, 60 years old, from Sta. Lucia, Cauayan City, Isabela, and Arman Bautista, 50 years old, from Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The couple both died on the spot after each of them received two gunshots.
The driver immediately stopped the bus when he found out. The suspects ran away, telling the driver to stop because they wanted to get off along Maharlika Highway near a river. He took the victims to PNP Caranglan to tell the police what happened.
The bus, with the number plate CAY 3363, came from Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
As of this writing, the police authorities are trying to identify and arrest the individuals responsible for the gruesome crime.
The police authorities think the reason behind the shooting incident might have to do with a problem with land and considering a potential motive related to a land dispute. The cops discovered that the victims were allegedly heading to Manila to seek help from the program “Raffy Tulfo In Action”.
