Michelle Dee Receives Support From Catriona Gray

Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee was cheered on by fellow Filipina beauty queen Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

The country’s bet for the Miss Universe 2023 pageant is Michelle Dee, an actress-model who came from a family of beauty queens. Her mother is Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez and her cousin is crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Winwyn Marquez.

The prelims of the competition have just concluded and Dee was among those who stood out in the Miss Universe 2023 prelims evening gown competition.

Dee was also included in the finalists of the Miss Universe Voice for Change video competition. This part of the competition was done to highlight the beauty queens’ advocacies to help them create a brighter and more compassionate world.

During the prelims, she did her best and it really showed as she exuded power and confidence when she strutted the catwalk for the swimsuit and evening gown competitions.

And expressing her support for the current PH bet for the said prestigious pageant is Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. As much as we all know, Gray is considered as one of the best Miss Universe beauty queens.

In Michelle’s post about Mark Bumgarner’s stunning emerald green gown that she wore during the prelims, she dropped a comment saying:

“Such a solid prelims performance! Alam na thisssss [emojis]”

In an IG story, Gray also gushed about the powerful prelims performance of Dee and expressed that her hard work for the pageant is showing.

WHERE TO WATCH

Miss Universe 2023 live will be on ABS-CBN’s various media platforms A2Z Channel 11, iWantTFC, Kapamilya Channel, and Metro Channel. It will also be airing on the YouTube channel ng Miss Universe Organization.

VENUE

El Salvador is this year’s host. The event will take place in José Adolfo Pineda Arena, an indoor arena located in the country’s capital San Salvador.

MISS UNIVERSE 2023 SCHEDULE

The preliminary competition was held on November 15, 2023, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Central Standard Time or CST (November 16, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Philippines). The National Costume Show is on November 16, 2023, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Central Standard Time or CST (November 17, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Philippines).

The grand coronation will be on November 19, 2023, at 9 am, in the Philippines.

HOSTS

The main hosts are Maria Menounos, Olivia Culpo, and Jeannie Mai while the backstage correspondents are Zuri Hall and Catriona Gray.
