Manny Pacquiao Wants Pro Fight With Eumir Marcial Before He Goes to Paris Olympics
Filipino legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao wants pro fight with Olympic medalist boxer Eumir Marcial before Paris Olympics.
The eight-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao, has plans to arrange a professional fight for Asian Games silver medalist Eumir Marcial in Manila. Pacquiao aims for Marcial to have a pro bout before the boxer competes in the upcoming Paris Olympics scheduled for July 26 to August 11 next year.
Sean Gibbons, the chief of Pacquiao’s MP Promotions responsible for handling Marcial, stated that Pacquiao desires to organize one of two planned professional bouts for Marcial in the Philippines. Pacquiao and Marcial recently met in Forbes Park, Makati City.
The former senator congratulated Marcial for his silver medal in the recent Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. During their meet up, Pacquiao congratulate Marcial for his silver medal finish in the recent Asiad in Hangzhou, China, based on the report of Philstar.

“He was congratulated by the senator personally after bagging a silver medal in the Asian Games and making it to the Olympics for the second time. The living legend Pacquiao was so excited to see him, and he also gave Eumir some boxing tips,” added Gibbons.
Marcial, with a pro record of 4-0 (with 2 knockouts), expressed delight at the prospect of fighting in front of his fellow countrymen. He is expected to headline a boxing card being planned by Gibbons in Manila, with the venue yet to be determined.
