Among the leads of the 46th Gawad Urian are John Lloyd Cruz and Nadine Lustre. Here’s the complete list!
Nadine Lustre and John Lloyd Cruz are among the nominees in the Best Actress and Best Actor categories, respectively of this year’s Urian.
The Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino has named the nominated individuals for the 2023 Gawad Urian Awards. This award is held annually to recognize and celebrate the best in Philippine cinema.
The films leading the nominees’ list are “Blue Room” and “Leonor Will Never Die” which received 10 nods each. To recall, “Blue Room” won five awards at the Cinemalaya Film Festival in 2022 which included the Special Jury, Best Cinematography, and Best Production Design awards.
This year’s recipient of the Natatanging Gawad Urian, an equivalent of a lifetime achievement award, is veteran actor Jaime Fabregas.
Among the leading personalities are John Lloyd Cruz and Nadine Lustre who are nominated as Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. The film of Cruz is “Kapag Wala Nang Mga Alon” while Lustre’s is “Deleter”, among the top-grosser films of the MMFF 2022.
