Luis Manzano Becomes Emotional As ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ Ends

‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ host Luis Manzano and others bid farewell on the show’s final day.

Luis Manzano and the other hosts of “It’s Your Lucky Day” were emotional as they bid goodbye to the viewers of their show on their last day.

The 12 days of “It’s Your Lucky Day” have just ended.

To recall, this show was created as a temporary show to fill the slot of It’s Showtime while it’s on suspension. The Kapamilya noontime show has been suspended by the Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) following the violation committed of the cake scene of hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.

The appeals of Showtime were denied and this prompted the producer of the show to accept the decision and make no further appeals. And while Showtime is under suspension, this show was made.

It’s Your Lucky Day” is hosted by celebrities Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, Jennica Garcia, and Melai Cantiveros. The other hosts are Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Long Mejia, Petit, and divine Tetay. They also welcomed celebrity guest hosts and among them was Vilma Santos who appeared in the show last weekend.

And on October 27, the last day of the show, Luis’ wife Jessy Mendiola joined them. In this episode, the show’s last and final, the hosts including Manzano, became emotional as they share their thoughts and experience.

Jennica expressed that she will miss everyone while Petit and Divine Tetay remarked how the show has affected their lives even if it’s just short-lived. Francine and Seth expressed their gratitude to their co-hosts for guiding them as they mark their first hosting stint in a noontime show.

They are thankful to the viewers because despite knowing that they are just going to air for 12 days, they still hold on and support them.

Shaina Magdayao and Melai also did not forget to thank the staff of the show for the guide as hosting, for her, is very different from acting. She hopes that the end of the show will not mark the end of their friendship.

As for Manzano, he emotionally expressed this based on the video, “It’s our great honor na magpasaya sa inyong lahat nang panandalian para mapawi ang inyong problema. At sa ating ‘Showtime’ family, we welcome you back. Maraming-maraming salamat sa pagpapatuloy sa inyong tahanan at itutuloy niyo rin ang kasiyahan. Mga ka-Lucky, sabay-sabay po tayyong magdasal. Kapit lang. Sabi nga nilang lahat, malay naman natin this is not goodbye.”
