The victim was identified as Ponciano Mandawi Jr., who is from Cebu City. He was driving his taxi when he picked up a passenger. Unfortunately, this passenger turned out to have bad intentions and threatened him, demanding the money he had earned.
The police authorities were able to apprehend the suspect. This prevented any more harm and Mandawi was kept safe. The police are now investigating the incident, and the person responsible is in their custody.
