Lifeless Body of Pinay Caregiver in Jordan Found Inside Employer’s Cabinet
The remains of a Pinay caregiver in Jordan were discovered inside the cabinet of her foreign employer’s home.
The lifeless body of a Filipina caregiver was discovered in a cabinet in the basement of her employer’s house in Jordan. The primary suspect in this gruesome crime is the underage child of her co-worker.
The Pinay victim was identified as Mary Grace Santos, hailing from Macabebe, Pampanga. Mary Grace had been working in Jordan for eight years to support her two children, one of whom had a congenital heart disease.
On October 11, 2023, Veronica, Mary Grace’s sister, received distressing news that her sibling had gone missing. In response, the family promptly reached out to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
The family discovered that Mary Grace’s lifeless body was found hidden in a cabinet in the basement of her workplace in Jordan. The victim was allegedly assaulted and strangled to death, according to the police report.
Veronica stated that the suspect had a long-held crush on her sister, and it was revealed that the offender was the child of the gardener employed by the household. When the crime happened, the gardener was temporarily filling in for a coworker, giving the suspect the opportunity to be at the victim’s employer’s home.
Veronica received news from her sister’s colleagues that the authorities in Jordan had arrested the suspect.
The OWWA anticipates that Mary Grace’s remains will be repatriated on Saturday
(October 21, 2023), bringing a heartbreaking chapter to a close.
