Kapuso actress Julie Anne San Jose has this post after she safely returned home.
Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, and Boobay have returned to PH safely from Israel and the actress has this post.
GMA Network artists Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, and Boobay were in Israel for the “Luv Trip Na, Laff Trip Pa” concert which was originally scheduled for October 7 at the Smolarz Auditorium at Tel Aviv University.
But this had to be canceled.
Unfortunately, a surprise attack from Hamas forces occurred over the weekend which prompted the government to impose a lockdown. GMA’s talent management arm, Sparkle, stated that the three artists are safe along with the rest of the Filipino concert organizers.
Before the cancellation, the Kapuso couple were even spotted enjoying the sights of Tel Aviv. They also visited museums, the Sea of Galilee, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan River.
On October 9, they returned to the Philippines safe and sound. Boobay even shared that they had heard explosions and alarms. The Kapuso actress-singer, on the other hand, shared that she was saddened by what happened and scared, at the same time, for being in such a fearful situation for the first time.
In an Instagram story, she expressed that our hearts go out to those who are affected by the conflict, especially fellow Filipinos, and to the rest of the world suffering from the same problem.

As for the canceled concert, a new date will be announced once the conflict stabilizes.
The strike over the weekend resulted in 700 casualties as per the report while 560 were killed in Gaza. Currently, there are over 24,000 Filipinos in Israel, and according to the Department of Foreign Affairs, one Filipino was reportedly abducted while there are other six who are missing.
