This is what Julia Montes said about the pressure brought by her new movie.
“Five Breakups and a Romance” actress Julia Montes shared her thoughts about her new film and the pressure it brought.
The upcoming film “Five Breakups and A Romance” stars Alden Richards and Julia Montes in the lead roles. This is the film of the actor following “Hello Love Goodbye”, his second film with a Kapamilya star.
Previous, the official trailer of “Five Breakups and A Romance” has been released. This film’s showing will be on October 18 in cinemas nationwide and directed and written by Irene Villamor.
“Hello Love Goodbye” currently holds the highest-grossing film title of all time. The film marked the first project of the actor with Kathryn Bernardo, the actress who happens to be her close friend.
With the success of the previous film of the actor, is there any pressure now with Montes?
In an interview with Boy Abunda in his Kapuso show, the actress shared her thoughts. According to her, the pressure comes from how the people perceive the film.
She told the host, “Siguro po pressure siya in the sense of dahil ang paningin ng tao after nila Kathryn, kami po. But ako kasi mas proud po ako e. Dun ako tumitingin kasi si Kathryn ‘yun e.”
She feels more proud instead of feeling pressured because it was Kathryn who was in there. If they’re going to be blessed with success for this film, they would be very happy and she noted that Kathryn is actually supportive of their film.
Meanwhile, Julia talked about her friendship with Kathryn. She expressed that before the love teams they’ve had, they are each other’s love team first and each other’s original love team.
