A video is circulating online about the alleged VIP treatment for VP Sara Duterte. Here are some comments.
SARA DUTERTE – Allegedly, a busy road was closed for the vice president to cross without dealing with the traffic.
According to the latest Pulse Asia poll, the approval ratings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte took a plunge. From Marcos’ 80 percent rating, it slipped to 65 percent while the vice president suffered a big hit from 84 percent to 73 percent.
This is based on the result of its September 10-15 survey.
According to the Pulse Asia, this is due to the issues hounding the deliberation of next year’s national budget which includes the massive confidential funds for the Office of the President (OP) and Office of the Vice President (OVP).
Amid the issues surrounding the national budget deliberation, especially the confidential funds, a video involving the vice president emerged online which earned a lot of comments.
On X (a platform formerly called Twitter), a user has uploaded a video from an ex-military man. In the video, the man holding the camera was asking a police officer why a busy road was closed making a lot of vehicles and motorcycles come to a halt.
In the video, the police officer explained that it was closed down for the vice president to cross unhampered and without the traffic. The officer said, “Dadaan lang po, ko-cross lang. Ko-cross lang po siya, saglit lang po.”
In amusement, the one who took the video quipped, “Wow! Ko-cross si VP Sara, isasara niyo yung commonwealth.”
He then walked away and told the other people who stopped, “Si VP Sara tatawid kaya tumigil muna tayo. Tigil muna tayo dahil tatawid si VP Sara. Ingat lang.”
