Eslozar B. Shema, a Facebook user, recently shared the heartbreaking photos of a young boy’s lunch placed in a used paint container. The post spread like wildfire on social media and elicits comments from the online community.
Teacher Shema has encountered numerous hardships and triumphs throughout her eight years of teaching. However, one particular encounter with a student has deeply touched her heart.
The educator gets emotional and nearly bursts into tears as she saw her student’s makeshift lunchbox, which happened to be a used paint container. Shema shared the pictures of her less-fortunate student with her son, Aidan Rue Eslozar. Her son responded with “How can we help him Mama??”
Eslozar recognizes that she may not be able to provide immediate financial help to those in need, such as buying lunch boxes. Still, she finds strength and purpose in her role as an educator.
Shema hope that one day these students will secure better job opportunities and provide for their own families, including lunch boxes for their children.
