SHARON CUNETA – The screen veteran has this confession when asked what she felt when KC Concepcion unfollowed these two people.
Actress entrepreneur KC Concepcion is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion. However, the marriage of the couple did not last that long. Later on, Sharon married Kiko Pangilinan and Kc grew up really close to her stepfather.
But it looks like much has changed since then.
Recently, KC unfollowed Kiko and her step-sister Frankie Pangilinan. According to her, the unfollowing is because of her wanting peace of mind and she also wants her family to be happy.
In the statement of KC, she stressed that she would unfollow but never unlove. She said, “Yes, I unfollowed on social media platform—but I will not unfollow the lessons I have learned growing up into the woman I am today. I unfollowed, but I will never unlove.”
Speaking about this incident was the Megastar. In a media conference ahead of her “Dear Heart” concert, she was asked about the matter and spoke about it. According to her, KC is always a family.
It saddened her that her eldest felt like she was alone but being alone was what she wanted which she had given her. She wanted independence and she let her. And another thing that also saddened her was when she unfollowed her stepfather and stepsister.
“May pagtatampuhan. And it hurt me syempre nung may unfollow-unfollow pero pamilya kami. This is a family matter,” she said in a video. The Megastar was very careful with her words.
And the consolation she has that is making her happy is that KC is now close to her papa, she is referring to her biological father.
She shared that as a kid and growing up as a teenager, she has always been close to Kiko.
