Recently, the MMDA conducted a clearing operation against illegally parked vehicles and other road obstructions near the Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City.

During the operation, MMDA asked a motorcycle rider to pull over and discovered that he was driving without a license. The traffic enforcers initiated the necessary legal procedures in compliance with traffic regulations.

The violator decided to return home to get his driver’s license, leaving his wife behind. It was noted that the wife, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, was also not wearing a helmet.

MMDA reminds the public of the importance of adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations when using the roads.

The agency’s clearing operation, which targeted illegally parked vehicles and various road obstructions, resulted in the issuance of tickets to approximately 32 motorists for various violations.

Driving without a valid license is considered a traffic violation and not only poses risks to the driver but also endangers the safety of other road users. Aside from penalties, such actions may lead to unexpected and inconvenient situations.
