Teacher Goes Viral for Introducing Touch of TikTok Magic Into his Online Class
A male teacher goes viral and earns reactions from netizens for introducing a touch of TikTok magic into his online class.
Nowadays, remote learning has become the new normal. Educators have had to find innovative ways to engage their students and build a sense of community in the virtual classroom.
Kevin Danielle Singson, a TikTok user, recently shared a video of how he brought some good vibes to his class as he patiently awaited his students’ arrival for an online session. The post elicits comments from the online community.
Singson’s class was scheduled to start at 9:30 AM, with a total of 40 students expected to join the Google Meet session. However, as the clock struck 9:30, only 30 students had logged in. He grabbed the opportunity to make his students feel welcome and create a memorable moment.
The educator greeted the students who were already present with a cheerful demeanor and a smile on his face. He encouraged them to wait a little longer for their classmates to join. As he interacted with his students, he noticed a unique trend from TikTok called the “AI Live” or “NPC” trend.
The innovative teacher decided to try mimicking AI or non-player characters. He did not expect that his co-teacher, sitting beside him, would record his TikTok-inspired moment.

The students responded with enthusiasm, mimicking the AI Live trend by sending heart reactions through Google Meet. It changed the waiting period into an engaging and memorable moment for everyone involved.
“Sabi ng class ko sa group chat namin ng mga students ko, tuwang-tuwa sila kase while waiting sa classmates nila na mag-join. Hindi sila nabored dahil sa ginawa ko,” Singson said.
The social media users commended the diligent teacher for his effort:
