Singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre shares her diagnosis in a recent interview.
MOIRA DELA TORRE – The singer-songwriter and Queen Of Hugot songs aired her thoughts after opening up about her ADHD diagnosis.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. One cannot be fine with the other impaired. Signs and symptoms will manifest no matter how you try to cover it up.
Recently, in an interview, Moira Dela Torre exhausted her courage to reveal and open up about her ADHD diagnosis. ADHD or Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is among the most common mental disorders affecting children.
Some of its symptoms may include inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. As for ADHD in adults, signs such as difficulty paying attention, impulsiveness, and restlessness may occur.
Adult ADHD may actually lead to unstable relationships, poorΒ performance in work or school, low self-esteem, and others. The treatment for adults and children is pretty similar such as medications, psychotherapy, and treatments for other conditions that may come along.
But as for Moira, she acknowledges these things as she believes that healing and moving forward will not happen if she doesn’t acknowledge them.
“You can’t heal if you don’t acknowledge, and, you can’t move forward if you don’t acknowledge where you are right now, and that is really what I’ve been doing,” she said. She just takes one step at a time and she is not in a rush of anything.
Looking back at what she went through in the past year, she’s surprised at how far she has come.

In a previous article, Moira was grateful for the worst part of her life. She felt that those happening were empowering, it gave her growth and made her approach love in a better way.
After her separation, she started to appreciate herself and realized that she is not that bad after all.
