Nyza explained that her father had secretly saved the money specifically for this special occasion, keeping the plan hidden from them, who believed they were just going out for a birthday dinner.
“Wala talagang idea si mommy dahil ang alam nya dinner lang. Kaya ayun po, she was really surprised that she cried. The whole fam was so happy for her that day,” Salenga said.

A few days before the event, Daddy Rusty had reached out to them for assistance, revealing his intention to gift Zeny a money bouquet. Nyza and her boyfriend quickly get into action.
“Sinabihan niya (na lang) kami na he wanted to give (her) a money bouquet. Kaya before sila umalis sa house, nauna kami ng boyfriend kong umalis to pick up the bouquet. And then during the dinner, ‘yung eldest namin and I, kami ‘yung nag kokontakan para alam din namin situation nila sa venue. Wala talaga kaming alam na nag-iipon ng pera si daddy (kaya) we were (also) surprised na P100,000,” Nyza added.
Daddy Rusty and Zeny were married for 26 years. The loving husband never failed to go an extra mile to make the occasion extra special.
