Surigao del Sur Governor Alexander Pimentel playfully tapped the back of a fan’s head after he requested a kiss from Shaina Magdayao.
A Facebook user named Mona Solis has shared the video footage of an unexpected twist after a male fan request for a kiss from the Pinay actress during the 11th Sangkaan Festival in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.
The Sangkaan Festival, known for its lively atmosphere and the presence of popular celebrities, featured an exciting lineup that included Shaina Magdayao, Khalil Ramos, The Juans, Silent Sanctuary, Dimes & Grind, and PGO Band.
Surigao del Sur Governor Alexander Pimentel was on hand to guide the excited attendees during the photo-op session between the fans and celebrities. Fans queued up for the opportunity to snap a memorable photo with the celebrities.
However, one male fan had a different idea in mind. Boldly, he requested a kiss from Shaina Magdayao when he was given the opportunity to greet the actress. Magdayao graciously granted the fan’s request.
Pimentel witnessed the incident and delivered an unexpected “kaltok” or a light slap to the back of the fan’s head who was rejoicing and on his way to leave the stage.
In a different angle captured by a netizen named Kyla J Gresones, it became clear that Governor Pimentel’s action was not meant to harm the man but rather, it was a playful response to the unusual request.
After delivering the “kaltok,” the governor was seen smiling, indicating that it was all in good fun.
