Young Man Rebukes Female Scammer Trying to Lure Him
A young man has shared his encounter with a female scammer after attending a church service, saying, “Hinayaan kong mag sink in sa kanya yung hiya.”
Angelo Gavino, a Facebook user, shared his encounter with a woman who approached him near a bus terminal. The post immediately circulated online and elicited reactions from internet users.
On a Sunday evening, after Angelo had attended a church service, he was making his way near a bus terminal when a woman approached him. This lady is an alleged scammer targeting students who had just finished attending a mass.
Gavino described it as a time when individuals might be in a reflective and charitable mood. He explained that there had been numerous victims of this scam, each falling prey to different tactics employed by the fraudsters.
“Ang galing kasi talagang tinarget nila mga student na kakatapos lang magsimba. [Nabasa] ko po na sobrang dami na pa lang naloko ito at iba-iba ang style pero kapag tutulungan mo sa tamang paraan,” Gavino said.
The young man revealed that the scammers were well-prepared for their modus operandi. The fraudsters had a range of props and attire to appear convincing, including bags and even a child accompanying them.

The level of preparation of the suspects suggested a disturbing level of organization in their fraudulent activities.
Angelo offered to assist her in a more practical manner. He proposed the idea of going to the barangay hall or police station together. The woman walked away after her modus operandi failed to lure Gavino.
