Guide on the TIN ID Requirements 2023 For Those Who Want to Get ID
TIN REQUIREMENTS 2023 – You can check the list below for the documents needed in getting the Taxpayer Identification Number ID Card.
Countless processes in the Philippines require a valid ID. In fact, it is the same even when you are in other countries. You can’t even process a passport without presenting a valid ID or any personal identification document issued by the government. That is why when someone loses his/her wallet, the returning of the ID is at times more preferred than the returning of the money.
One of the ID cards that you may have is the Taxpayer Identification Number Identification Card or more popularly called the TIN ID. It is issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue, more popularly called BIR. It is the country’s tax-collecting agency.
The TIN ID contains the personal information of the taxpayer including his/her complete name, birthday, address, photo, and signature. It also contains the details on when the ID card was released as well as the logo of the BIR. In getting this type of ID, you need to prepare the TIN requirements.
The TIN ID comes with no expiry. Previously, it was released in a yellow-orange card but now the BIR releases green-colored cards. It must be laminated by the cardholder to prevent watermarks, scratches, and wear and tear as it is made of a cardboard.
In getting a Taxpayer Identification Number Identification Card, there are TIN requirements that you must prepare for application. Here are the documents needed:
- Duly-accomplished BIR registration Form (either 1902 or 1904)
- one valid ID
- PSA-issued birth certificate – (You can also PSA Birth Certificate requirements for application.)
