This is what Jak Roberto said when asked what he feels about “BarDa”.
In an interview, Jak Roberto insists he’s unbothered by “BarDa” but admits that this one thing about the love team saddens him.
“BarDa” is the collective name of Kapuso stars Barbie Forteza and David Licauco. Their love team surprisingly clicked because of “Maria Clara at Ibarra”. And this success led them to other projects.
And, of course, a love team won’t be successful without the fans. BarDa has established quite a strong fan base already, however, some just cross the line between the reel and real.
In real life, Forteza is in a relationship with actor Jak Roberto and they have been together for many years now. Both of them are celebrities and both of them know what it takes as an actor and such similarity has set such an easiness in their relationship as they are very understanding of their job’s nature.
They can work with other artists and even do some intimate scenes.
And with the noise and buzz about BarDa, Jak seems to not mind at all. He’s unbothered which showed how secure he is in their relationship and he is also not the jealous type of a boyfriend.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, he just admitted to one thing that is saddening for him. This is the Filipino mindset of some fans who can’t seem to draw the line between what professional and personal.
“Nakakalungkot lang kasi may mga comments na pine-personal na. Minsan, nakakapagsabi na ng hindi magandang salita. Pero ako, as artista and alam ko ‘tong ginagalawan kong mundo at alam kong public figure po ako, naiintindihan ko po lahan ‘yon. Nalulungkot lang ako sa iba, sana maintindihan nila ‘yong trabaho saka sa personal na,” he expressed regarding the unpleasant comments.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, the actor shared that he and Barbie have not set any boundaries in terms of work. They can freely work with anyone and the biggest foundation of this is their trust in each other.
He furthered that in their entire relationship, he never felt jealous even once. He laughed at this and shared that this must be the reason why the “Anti-Silos Class” has been created.
