The August 2023 Medical Technologist Board Exam result is now available and here are the passers and topnotchers!
The full result included the complete board list of passers, top 10 examinees, and overall performance of schools. It was released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Medical Technology four (4) working days after the last day of exams.
3,982 out of 5,401 (73.73%) successfully passed the exams as per the announcement.

The exam was held on August 12-13, 2023 in different testing centers across the country such as NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. It was headed by Board of Medical Technology Chairman, Dr. Marilyn A. Cabal-Barza, and its member, Dr. Leila Lany M. Florento.
The following subjects were covered:
- Clinical Chemistry
- Microbiology and Parasitology
- Clinical Microscopy
- Hematology
- Blood Banking and Serology
- Hispathologic Techniques, Cytotechnology, Medical Technology Laws, Related Laws and its Implementing Rules and Code of Ethics
Schedule of Registration
The new Registered Medical Technologists must follow this schedule for online appointments for the issuance of ID and Certificate of Registration: October 2 – 6, October 9 – 13 and October 16, 2023
Newly-passed Medical Technologists should prepare these requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA)Duly accomplished Oath Form2 pcs – Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag2 sets – Documentary Stamps1 pc – Short Brown Envelope
The verification of rating and schedule for the oath taking are yet to be announced.
