In a new Instagram post, actress-host Kris Aquino shares some good news with her fans, and here is her full post about it.
It has been many years of treatment for Kris Aquino who is struggling with several autoimmune diseases. She has five autoimmune diseases and three of them are chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis, and Churg Strauss.
Despite being away, she never failed to give her fans updates about her health.
And recently, in a new Instagram post, she shared some good news about improvements with regards to her health. She took to her account an update about her treatment in the United States.
According to her, the last blood panel showed improvement.
“Thank you because our prayers are being answered – my last blood panel showed improvement – it’s slow progress, I have a long way to go,” she wrote in the caption. She is optimistic that she is on the right path to remission and better life quality.
In her lengthy update, she shared that she received her second dose of a biological injectable to help lower her high IgE or immunoglobulin E, the antibodies produced by the immune system.
She was also praised by her doctors for her high tolerance of pain and strength. She added, “Because kinakaya ko even though malapot at mahapdi ‘yung ini-inject at malalim kailangan ibaon ‘yung prefilled high tech syringe. Yes, matapang na ko sa halos lahat ng kailangan pagdaanan at mataas ang pain tolerance ko.”
Kris furthered by thanking her followers as their prayers are now answered. She also clarified in her post that autoimmune disorders may have no cure but the damage to organs can be managed or prevented with proper treatment.
