Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza will have their Europe trip after their wedding
Celebrity couple Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza had this request to all their wedding ninongs and ninangs.
Arjo and Maine tied the knot on July 28, 2023, in Baguio City. This is exactly one year after the actor-politician proposed to the Phenomenal Star. Although the wedding was a very private event, it was a star-studded one.
Most of Arjo and Maine’s principal sponsors are from the entertainment industry while some are popular political personalities. After the wedding, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, the couple is set to travel to Europe.
Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza will be attending the 76th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. This is an official trip because Arjo will be serving as a Vice Chairperson of the Special Committee in Congress on Creative Industry and Performing Arts.
His movie Topakk was once again recognized by another international film institution last week. He said that he, his wife, and his family are happy that the announcement came before the wedding day.
Aside from his official trip on Aug. 5 to 27, Arjo will be working remotely also for his responsibilities as the Representative of the 1st District of Quezon City.
The couple also expressed gratitude to everyone who joined them on their special day even though the weather was not joining the celebration. “Thank you for being with us despite the rainy weather in Baguio City and thank you for inspiring us,” the actor-politician said.
He also said that they felt inspired seeing the people who wanted to be with them on that day. They really appreciated everyone’s effort to travel to Baguio.
The couple included in their wedding invitation a request they have to their ninongs and ninangs, as well as all the guests. It was said that Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza said that instead of gifts, they wanted the guests and sponsors to donate to the victims of all kinds of calamities or any other type of assistance to the people, especially in District 1 of Quezon City.
